Quiz Bowl Wins State!

On March 22nd, Episcopal traveled to Southside High School in Youngsville to compete in the 2025 Louisiana Quiz Bowl Association State Championships. After a long day, the team went 8-0 and won the Division II State Championship! This is the second state championship Episcopa has won (the last being in 2023).

Congratulations to the team, including:

“The thing I'm proudest of as their coach this year is how deep and knowledgeable our squad is,” says Quiz Bowl Coach Dr. Billy Pritchard. “Any one of the six students who competed could have been the best player or highest scorer on many of the other teams we played. But they were willing to sacrifice individual awards and recognition so that we could win state. I'm also excited for the future. Even though we are losing a lot of excellent seniors, our A team returns three very strong competitors. Here's hoping for a repeat performance next year!”

Model UN Students Perform Well at the Annual Conference

The Model United Nations participants did an amazing job at their annual conference held at the Baton Rouge Marriott March 13-15.  As members of the Model United Nations, Episcopal sent 10 students that represented the countries of Serbia and Italy.  Episcopal students cooperated with other schools to write resolutions in an attempt to fix many world issues. Several of these resolutions were debated and passed in their chambers.  After a long day of resolution writing and debating, students were able to enjoy the banquet and MUN fun activities on Friday evening.
