Boys Varsity Baseball
The Episcopal baseball program is made up of three teams, (Freshman, Junior Varsity and Varsity). The Knights played their first baseball game in 1990, and the program has seen tremendous success since then. Episcopal celebrated a state championship in 2004, recording 29 total wins which is the school record for wins in a season. Episcopal is proud to have numerous baseball athletes go on to compete at the collegiate level.

Head Coach
Head Coach Travis Bourgeois begins his 28th season at Episcopal and his 23rd as head coach. He is the winningest coach in Episcopal football history with an overall record of 155-85. He has led two teams to the state semifinals (2002 and 2013) and named Class AA Coach of the Year in 2002. His 2011 and 2013 teams set the school record for wins with 11 and the 2013, 2020, and 2021 teams went undefeated during the regular season winning the District 8-AA title. He was also the Head Girls Basketball Coach for 15 years and was selected the class AA coach of the year in 2007 while leading the Knights to semi-final berths in 2006 and 2007. In 2015, he took over as Head Baseball Coach and has a eight-year record of 142-79. His 2016 and 2017 teams reached the state quarterfinals and finished with a school record 24 wins in both seasons. The Knights also won back to back district championships during those years and he was named coach of the year. The 2022 team won 23 games, a district championship and the school’s 3rd state semi-finals appearance. Coach Bourgeois resides in Baton Rouge with his wife Sheila (Francise) and three daughters; Bailey, Annslee, and Elaine. Bailey (2018) and Annslee (2021) graduated from Episcopal. Elaine is a sophomore at Episcopal.
