Connecting generations of Knights in a meaningful way.
There are many ways to get involved as an Episcopal graduate. Check out some of the ways you can reconnect with our campus as well as become more involved in our alumni community.
Want to be a Class Representative?
The Class Representative is the link between your class and Episcopal. This person will receive updates on alumni and campus activities. They are responsible for getting this information out to their class via email, social media sites or whatever platforms your individual class may have. The Class Representative also works with the Episcopal Alumni Relations Coordinator to help us keep their class data updated. The Class Representative may provide updated emails or interesting facts about fellow classmates. This role also helps with reunion planning and additional needs the individual class may have.
Class Representatives do not have to be Baton Rouge residents. The majority of communication is done via email so a representative’s location can be anywhere. Please consider staying involved in this way as it benefits the entire class and helps keep the Episcopal community updated.
The following classes currently do not have a Class Representative: 1971, 1982 and 2009.
Email [email protected] if you are interested in being a Class Representative.
Become a Resource for Students
The Episcopal Alumni Speakers and Connections Program works to foster meaningful relationships between alumni and our current student body. Students have the opportunity to receive advice, guidance, and perspective from these alumni connections. Alumni speakers have an opportunity to share their stories and invest time in a rewarding relationship with a student who is eager to learn about a particular industry, profession or talent.
Possible avenues for engagements are:
Informational interviews with a student about your field
Speak to student groups or classes
Select the avenues of most interest to you or let us know a way your skillset can be helpful by completing the survey below. All opportunities can be achieved virtually or in person so we hope alumni from across the country and world will want to be a part of this important program.
The Lower School students love to hear how stories unfold in a great book. Maybe it is your favorite childhood book or one you read to your kids growing up. This amazing opportunity for our alumni community will provide the gift of listening to a story. Not only will the students enjoy hearing a story from Episcopal alumni but our alumni will also begin to show our littlest Knights how they will one day be graduates that can give back by sharing their gifts with students just like them. Check out the opportunities below:
Read a Story to a Class
If you are located here in Baton Rouge, we would love to have you visit campus to read to one of our classes.
Read- Aloud Story
This program will focus on our alumni from around the world bringing books to life by reading them aloud via video. (All instructions will be provided so you can easily submit a video for our teachers’ use.)
If you are interested in being involved in either of these programs, please complete the survey below.
Help us welcome our newest graduates into our alumni community. Support a Senior by writing them a personal note. Based on the college you attended, where you live, or your degree program/current job, we will do our best to pair our alumni with a new graduate that would make a meaningful connection. We will post this year's Class of 2025 Support a Senior sign up in the Spring.
