Thank you for your interest in an Episcopal education. We know that you have a range of choices to set your child up for success, and we are happy that Episcopal is among those options.
For more than 50 years, Episcopal has provided students in the Greater Baton Rouge region a rigorous academic experience with the goal of preparing them for meaningful and purposeful lives. We strive to empower our students with the critical thinking and problem solving skills to lead the next generation. From project-based learning experiences to opportunities for artistic and athletic exploration, service learning, and college preparation, our curriculum builds upon itself as our students prepare for college and beyond.
However, there is much more to Episcopal than academic rigor. We are a community of diverse learners with a shared goal of educating the whole child. At Episcopal, our students experience a nurturing environment in which to explore their world. In Lower School Morning Meeting, students gather in song and prayer to start their day. In Middle School, advisory and peer leaders provide opportunities for support and connection. In Upper School, students partner with community organizations to engage in service projects with the hope of igniting a spirit of service that lasts a lifetime.
I have always loved school. As a child, I pretended to be a teacher and “taught” my siblings for fun. It was my dream to become an educator, and I am honored to fulfill that dream as Episcopal’s Head of School. Seeing the spark of learning and excitement in our students’ eyes is tremendously rewarding. As a parent, I know you will feel the same as your child makes the Episcopal journey.
Thank you again for your interest in Episcopal. I invite you to contact one of our admission staff members for more information.
