Calling all Alumni! Six Opportunities to Get Involved
September 14th, 2023
Episcopal Alumni Make a Difference
Are you an Episcopal graduate who wants to inspire tomorrow’s leaders? Check out the opportunities to get involved, whether you are down the street or around the world.
Update Your Contact Information
The best way to stay connected is to make sure we have your most recent contact information. You can easily update your alumni profile information online by clicking here.
Class Representatives
The Class Representative is the link between your class and Episcopal. This person receives updates on alumni and campus activities. They are responsible for getting this information out to their class via email, social media sites or the platforms your class may have. The Class Representative also works with the Episcopal Alumni Relations Coordinator to keep class data updated. The Class Representative may provide updated emails or interesting facts about classmates. This role also helps with reunion planning and additional needs the individual class may have.
Class Representatives do not have to be Baton Rouge residents. Most communication is via email, so you can be anywhere. Please consider participating, as it benefits the entire class and keeps the Episcopal community updated.
The following classes currently do not have a Class Representative: 1971, 1982 and 2009. If you are interested in being a Class Representative or becoming more involved with your class, please reach out to [email protected] for more information.
Alumni Speakers and Connections Programs
The Episcopal Alumni Speakers and Connections Program fosters meaningful relationships between alumni and our current student body. Students benefit from advice, guidance, and perspective from these alumni connections. Alumni share their stories and invest time in a rewarding relationship with a student eager to learn about a particular industry, profession or talent.
We are currently looking for alumni speakers to speak to student groups and classes this year. Sign up now by clicking here.
Select the avenues of most interest to you or let us know how your skills can be helpful. All opportunities can take place virtually or in person, so we hope alumni from across the country and around the world will be a part of this program.
5th and 50th
We love welcoming our 50th+ reunion classes back to campus to share their treasured Episcopal memories with our 5th grade students. So, classes 1970 - 1973, mark your calendars for the morning of Homecoming, October 27th, 2023, for one of the most precious projects our school offers. Our 5th grade students get to capture your most special Episcopal memories while we celebrate the history and tradition of the beginnings of Episcopal. These historical classes, along with a few “almost 50th” classes, will receive more information soon, but you won’t want to miss this chance to share your stories, so Save the Date!
Alumni Reading Program - Lower School
Lower School students love to hear how stories unfold in a great book. This amazing opportunity for our alumni community will provide the gift of listening to a story. Not only will the students enjoy hearing a story from Episcopal alumni, but our alumni will also begin to show our littlest Knights how they will one day be graduates who can give back by sharing their gifts with students just like them.
We love bringing our alumni back during homecoming week - October 23rd - 27th. Sign up today if you want to be part of this fun Spirit Week tradition! We would love to have you back on campus!
Support a Senior - Send a Congratulations Note
Help us welcome our newest graduates into our alumni community by writing a personal note to a graduating senior. Based on the college you attended, where you live, or your degree program/current job, we will do our best to pair our alumni with a new graduate who would make a meaningful connection. The Class of 2024 Support a Senior sign up will come out spring of 2024, and we would love for you to be a part of welcoming our newest alumni into the Episcopal alumni community.
The Episcopal School of Baton Rouge 2025-2026 application is now available! For more information on the application process, to schedule a tour, or learn more about the private school, contact us at [email protected] or 225-755-2685.
