Episcopal Scholarships At A Glance

Episcopal awarded more than $200,000 in scholarships last year. The school has a number of established merit-based scholarships designed to recognize bright and motivated students. Each year, applicants to our Middle and Upper School who reflect - in their academic and leadership talents - exceptional achievement are considered for these scholarships.

Scholarships are awarded based on the criteria established by the donor(s) funding each merit scholarship award. Both current Episcopal students and new applicants are automatically considered for partial-tuition scholarships; there is no separate application process. Examples of Episcopal scholarships include the Lamar Scholars program, which strives to expand the Episcopal experience to more students in the region and to promote an inclusive school environment representing a variety of student backgrounds.

Our admission, scholarship, and tuition assistance policies for qualified students are administered without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national and ethnic origin, or disability.

Episcopal does not award athletic or extracurricular scholarships. No additional application is required for merit scholarships, but application to Tuition Assistance provides greater financial assistance opportunities.

The Webster Scholars program is designed for bright and motivated students who have distinguished themselves as academic and community leaders. The full-tuition scholarships are renewable for all four years of Upper School at Episcopal, as long as the student maintains an outstanding academic performance and displays community leadership.
