I am interested in STEM. I joined a robotics team because I liked math and science and ended up building an entire robot and going to competitions.
How long have you attended Episcopal?
I began attending Episcopal during my junior year. It was a difficult transition after Runnels closed. I found that by being myself I was able to make friends and meet new people.
What is your favorite activity?
Softball. That’s how I made my friends.
What do you enjoy most about Episcopal?
I like the teachers. We have really great teachers. They are on a different level with articulating, and they know what they’re doing. They take a lot of time with students and are very personable.
What is your favorite academic subject?
Math. I have always liked math, and I’ve always been good at it. I find it fun. It’s a puzzle.
What class assignment is most memorable?
Last year I wrote a paper in English about truth. I wrote about beliefs forced onto children in families. I included 15 sources and covered everything from mental illness to religious beliefs.
What extracurricular activities are you in?
I work part-time at Government Taco. I’m also involved with my church as a volunteer. We have a lot of group nights and meetings, and I’m working toward being a youth leader.
