Biography

ROCIO CANO. UPPER SCHOOL SPANISH TEACHER.
MASTER'S IN LANGUAGES, LITERATURES, AND CULTURES: ILLINOIS STATE UNIVERSITY.

Rocio Cano joined Episcopal as an Upper School Spanish teacher in 2020. A native Spanish speaker, Cano earned a Master of Arts in Languages, Literatures, and Cultures from Illinois State University and a Bachelor of Arts in teaching English, Spanish and French from La Salle University in Colombia. Cano began teaching in 2012 and has taught Spanish and English at the high school and university levels. In recognition of her teaching abilities, Cano received the Illinois State University Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures Montserrat Vilarrubla Award for Excellence in Teaching.
