Biography
STEPHEN ANDERSON '02. MIDDLE SCHOOL DEAN OF STUDENT LIFE and DIRECTOR OF CAMPUS SECURITY. 
MASTER'S IN MATHEMATICS EDUCATION: LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY
 
Stephen Anderson, a 2002 Episcopal graduate, has been teaching since 2006. He currently serves as the Math Department Chair, and was previously the Director of Episcopal’s AP Summer Institute. As Episcopal’s Head Swim Coach, he led the varsity teams to four state championships and five state runner-up finishes. Prior to re-joining the Episcopal community, Stephen spent the first part of his career teaching everything from Algebra 1 to AP Calculus BC at a local public high school. Stephen earned his bachelor's degree in mathematics from Louisiana State University in 2005 and his master’s degree in mathematics education from LSU in 2009.  He is passionate about “developing the whole child” and works to inspire his students to embrace life’s inevitable challenges in the classroom, athletic arenas, and beyond.
