Biography
KELLY DORRIS. SECOND GRADE TEACHER.
BACHELOR'S IN EDUCATION: LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY
 
Kelly Dorris taught at Episcopal from 1994 to 1998 as a Lower School second grade teacher. During that time she was married and started her family. She returned to Episcopal in 2007 after some time at home with her daughters. Kelly is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in education. Kelly practices Responsive Classroom and Project Based Learning in her classroom community.  She believes in a child-centered learning environment where the teacher guides the students to their learning.
