2023 Spring Sports Spotlight

Spring is in the air, which means it’s a great time for baseball, golf, softball, tennis and track & field.

Baseball
The bats have been busy this spring, with the Knights earning wins against East St. John, Patrick Taylor, Cecilia, West Feliciana and more. There’s much more baseball to go, with big games coming up in the next few weeks. Make plans to support the Knights.

Golf
The boys and girls are having a great spring. The girls team, including Sophia Macias, Kennedy Pointer, Hana Roman, Suzie Heneghan and Madison Andrews placed first in a match against U-High, Dutchtown and St. Michael. Sophia placed first and Kennedy finished third.
The boys team, including Mason Albert, Charlie Williamson, Porter Eglin, Neff Neumann and Logan Beane, placed first in a match versus Central and Baton Rouge High. Mason placed first overall, Charlie came in second and Porter tied for third. The boys also placed second versus Catholic High and U-High. The top five finishers were Charlie Williamson, Mason Albert, Porter Eglin, Austin Ray and Burke Tarleton.

Softball
The softball team came up big versus Tara High School in the season opener. The team also hosted a successful Episcopal Softball Round Robin at home. Make plans to support your Knights this spring!

Tennis
The boys and girls tennis teams are having a tremendous season with wins versus West Feliciana, Baton Rouge High, Central Private, East Ascension and St. Amant. There is still more time to catch the squad in action. Mark your calendars now for the following contests.

Track & Field
The team hosted a successful Episcopal Relay at home. The girls celebrated a meet win at the West Feliciana Relays and the boys placed fourth. Both teams will lace up their sneakers for more exciting contests. Make plans to attend.
