Honors Orchestra Selection
Senior viola player Ryan Roper earned a spot in the Louisiana Music Educators Association Honors Orchestra featuring guest conductor Sey Ahn. Ryan first picked up a viola in the fourth grade and has loved the deep sound of the instrument since. She enjoyed the opportunity to perform with students from across the state during the multi-day Honors Orchestra event in Baton Rouge. Ryan says playing music is rewarding and has helped boost her faith and connection with God. She plans to continue playing viola after high school.
